i know there is a way to speed up downloads in winxp when downloading multiple files but i cant find it. what is happening is that my download speed gets cut in half for every file i download. it is quite anoyying. i think it was a reg hack. thanks :)

After you do the QoS tweak, download Download Accellerator and use it. Set its settings to the max and your speeds will be like this:
