Went to see Coldplay last night in Oklahoma City...it was one of the best shows I've been to. I saw them a couple of years ago in Dallas, but this show was exceedingly better, especially for an Oklahoma crowd.
At one point they came into the audience right next to us to sing a couple of songs, including The Scientist.
Amazing show!

LMFAO!
I've never seen the descriptive 'badass' applied to anything Coldplay have done...
Their earlier stuff is pretty cool, Yellow/Trouble/In My Place, but I can't get down with the newer tracks... Roman Cavalry Choirs... By jingo he's pretentious!

They put me right to sleep. I'm so over depressed rock.

I actually find the tracks I mentioned quite uplifting... Have a look for Mark Ronson's cover version of 'God Put A Smile On Your Face', c'est le wizzle!

The woman loves em so it's probably around here somewhere....
ah yes. Yah I've heard that one plenty. I called it depressed not because the lyrics were of a depressed man... I'm having trouble articulating what I mean. The music style is so dreary and mellow. Dudes voice is like a hypnotist. It seriously puts me to sleep.
Fans of Coldplay should look into a similar british band called "Embrace". The bands are actually good friends, and Chris Martin of Coldplay wrote a song that he thought fit Embrace better and gave it to them (Gravity).
Embrace - That's all changed forever (live from Abbey Road)
Embrace - Gravity (written by Chris Martin of Coldplay)

Nope, no bewbies.
We did meet some of their road crew the night before when we were downtown for dinner though. They talked to us for awhile, it was cool.
