I am :D I just got the email it's out. Yea! Been waiting for this one for a while.
I probably will, was way cool back in 1865 or whenever it came out :P Seriously though, I got in trouble in high school when a friend of mine and I acted out 'Bit'-speak in class...

i remember seein it when i was a kid, the thing was the video sucked big time in IQ and to top it off it was dubbed in spanish, and i mean REAL spanish (theres way a bigger difference than english/american...) so i just absolutely hated it....

i just hope i can rent it on dvd now at least....

We had it on Betamax when I was younger, lol. I'm not sure but I think it came out the same year as Return of the Jedi. If not than it was real close. I haven't seen it in a long time. In fact, the only thing I remember is him getting sucked into the computer. If I remember correctly, he interacted with a couple of programs that his peers had written who bore the resemblance of the code authors. Then they all go and battle (h4X0r) the evil giant corperate security system. Cool :D
I've seen it on TV a couple of times in the last 3 years. I saw it in the theater originally. It's fun stuff.

Well I got it. It's pretty amazing what they did with computer graphics way back then. Obviously it pales to what could be done today, but it still looks pretty impressive. Gotta love those light cycles :D In the making of featurette they talk about how the 3D dudes were being pushed to their limits, forced to inovate new technologies just to make the movie. Apparently all these 3D video guys were just making silly little commercials before Tron. Definitly worth my 25 bucks at Blockbuster.
