There are a couple of episodes I can still remember that I thought were really well done. Examples (dunno any titles tho)...

-The one where Mulder has to keep driving a car with a woman in it who's head would explode if he should stop. This was caused by underground cables that emitted ultra low frequency waves...

-The Groundhog Day-type one where a woman experienced a bank robbery over and over and tried to explain it to Mulder (who would forget all of it the next time of course)...

-An episode where a lawyer experienced the murder of his wife in reverse time. Every time he woke up it was the previous day. He had to try and explain this to Scully and Doggett (the best of the Doggett-episodes so far)... The black guy that played the lawyer is that Dyson-dude from T2...

And then there are a handful of the "humorous" episodes. I dig those as well. I remember one where a guy controlled the weather but wasn't aware of it... And one with Mulder caught in an alternate dimension (on a WW2 ship) with a couple very cool split screens... And the one with the cockroaches (where at one time this big roach crawled over the screen as if it was really on YOUR telly :) )

LOL I never saw that first one (the head exploding one)...sounds cool. :)

I liked the one with the little girls...Eve, I think it was called.

There've been loads of others, but I'll come back to it later cause I'm tired. :)

But...let's not forget the best thing about the X-Files...David "Horny Bastige" Duchovny. :D

Sorry, I had to say it. :D

To f'ing many to mention!!!

The whole of the Anazazi/Blessing Way/Paper Clip arc from season 1/2. Absolutly blew me away when I first saw it. Mulder getting trapped in the underground box car with the smallpox victims when CSM & the army arrive... "Burn it..."
Absolute class. I really liked the story of Blood, mind control with the use of psychadelic drugs, all the digital readouts telling people to KILL looked v.cool.
I really love CSM stories, I can't remember the names of them now but there are two particular ones I loved, one where he's sitting in a building with a sniper rifle listening into a conversation and having flashbacks and a two parter, one's called The Red & The Black, which brought him back in after his apparent execution by sniper... Finding out Spender was his son was cool, I did think they would do an Empire and make Mulder his son, using Samantha was IMO a top idea!!!

Watching old smokie pop a cap in Jeffreys ass was pretty darn sweet too!!! :D

There's a three-perter that I liked, but I can't remember the names...it was about Scully's abduction though.

I have them here on tape, I'll see if I can get the titles, it's annoying me now, LOL.

ACTUALLY...

He was driving a MAN around, not a woman. And he had to move EAST because the guy had vibration going on in his head, and the only way to relieve it was to drive west. Once he got to the coast, he couldn't keep going so the guys head exploded.

It was caused by the governent testing some stuff. I believe it was a plane. It only affected people who could hear. The one woman who was deaf was unaffected. Her dog however... TOAST!

(gee... I sound like a real nerd now don't i? LOL)

Sound frequencies from a military experiment....not an airplane. Dead birds everywhere too.

I really enjoyed the episode where they introduced Doggett for the first time. It really seemed like a "fresh start" for the X-Files.

i think the ep is called "From outer space" or something like that..

it's got all these funny references to the alien autopsy that was supposedly something that scully performed, an alien smoking a cigarette, aliens that live under the earth's surface and the kicker was Alex Trebek as one of the men in black.

it was great...

I'll take your word for it on the first thing, but I'm sure it wasn't a plane...

I loved the Harryhausen monster that beamed down on to the road, very cool. The piolot in the alien costume toking a cheeky cig was funny too... :D

Favorite "campy" episode has to be the one about the vampire pizza delivery guy, where Mulder and Scully each tell the story as they remember it. Loved the drugged up Mulder singing the "Shaft" theme song in Scully's version. Funny stuff. I think Luke Wilson played the small-town sheriff in that episode.

I was thinking about this one the other day, but I couldn't remember enough about it to make a valid post... I did remember the Shaft-song :D

Oh and czor: that episode is the absolutely worst episode EVER!!!!
