This one looks ACE, been hammering F3 for years and can't wait for the next one. It's a bit shit that EA wouldn't let them use the Porsche licence as they have done in the past but hey, it's EA. They got RUF though, which makes up a bit but tbh I'm not a Porsche fan so meh. Can't see any launch SE editions though, usually they make a blingy box with extra bits in don't they but I can't find anything like that for F4. Anybody know of any?

Does Forza only have production cars or does it do racing cars as well cuz on the list on that linked page there only are production cars? Exotics, but still production cars...

Loads of racing cars, from touring and drift cars to GT and LM cars.

Whats a good wheel for the game? I understand you can't use any of the Logitech ones?

IF I could use my wheel, I would get an X-box and buy Forza. Looks like it will be a lot of fun.

I've used the big old microsoft one that sits on your lap and I thought that was great. Cracking feedback. Apparently it's compatible with the new motion wheel and kinect, though I'll just stick with the controller.

I see... Well, the chances of me ever getting an xbox are slim to none anyway, but it's nice to know there's more to it than just exotics...

The PS3 looks tempting after the recent price drop, but it's a bit silly getting one when I still don't even have a HDTV...

Cop, man go out and get a HDTV. Seriously, you wont regret it.

Akira,

I could never imagine using Kinect for a driving game, I would actually need some kind of wheel that fights back and has good forcefeedback etc.

I wish the consoles wouldn't be such asses when it comes to things like this. I wish Forza would be on both the x-box and the ps/3 and if not that, then at least can we have a standard wheel for both? I don't think that is too much to ask.

I would get an x-box, but I don't bother cause I would have to buy another wheel, and if I did that, my wife would kick me right out of the house with the wheels included!~

I would regret retiring a TV that isn't broken yet. I'm weird like that. If one of the 3 breaks down, I'm getting one for my movie room that same day, but until then I just can't be bothered.

DVD looks better or CRT anyway...

I'm a bit iffy about using kinect for driving too, I really can't see it providing the accuracy and response you need when you're chasing down those last hundredths of a second. How do you accelerate and brake, also? Does it watch your feet on imaginary pedals? Doesn't sound very appealing to me at all.

I don't know what's sillier, sitting in front of a television with an actual steering wheel and pedals or sitting in front of it pretending you have a steering wheel and pedals

from what i have seen with Forza-4 it simply looks like an incredible game. something to really enjoy. i am not a big fan of what they did with the 'Ring' but that is only one track. the rest is incredible from what i have seen. the sounds and the graphics compliment the game very well as well.

It has pretty good recognition of individual hands/feet, but like you say, not actually having anything to give resistance to your feet would make it really awkward to play.
