After a few delays the Kimagure Orange Road DVD box set is finally in replication. Not much is known about the box set except that it will contain the entire KOR TV series. There are 48 TV episodes. I heard that the dvds would have 4 episodes each but that would make the set incredibly large. I would assume they would make 6 episodes per DVD. It is not known whether the set will be dual language. The box set can still be preordered at the animeigo website and the price is a hefty 250 dollars. (keep in mind it is a full tv series, an incredibly large one).

Animeigo has also started the replication of the DVD for Baoh. I am unfamiliar to this series but it seems to have quite a following. (i think it's a series, may just be a movie tho).

Vis video has announced that they will be releasing the DVD box set for Ranma 1/2 season 2 this coming April. The dvd set for the first season was released a few months back. It will retail around 120 bucks.

The Evangelion DVD Box set will be out 4/9/02 and will include the entire regular series including a digitally remastered First volume DVD with uncut animation. Unfortunately the set will not include the Death and Rebirth or End of Evangelion movies. If those movies were included i would probably order the set right away.

The two movies will be released later this year on DVD.
Death and Rebirth will be released in North America 6/02
End of Evangelion will be released in North America 7/02

Much talked about Spriggan will finally be released on DVD on April 23rd for $29.98. Spriggan is claimed to be a movie to rival Akira as one of the most powerful anime films ever.

That's all for now.

Now that's a VERY strong claim... Where can we get to know more about Spriggan?

I'm tired of waiting for Spriggan. I remember at Animefest in 1999 watching Tenshi Ni Narumon (I'm not an Angel, which is about to be released) in raw Japanese and seeing previews for Spriggan wondering what it was gonna be, because the Animation was SO badass.

Then in 2000 at A-Kon 11, ADV was handing out promo posters of Spriggan, because it was supposed to be released soon (And yes, I got one of those posters sitting here).

Fast forward to 2002 and the damned thing is still not out. I'm tired of waiting for it and it's pretty sad, because ADV is an exceptional company at anime. It's just a shame they've taken so long to bring out what looks to be one incredible anime.

As for me, I've got other animes to watch, like Rurouni Kenshin.
