It's on HBO an it's like the quirkiest show I've ever watched. It goes from funny as hell to serious as a heartattack.:)

It's about a family that runs a modest funeral home. There are 2 brothers, hehe, 1 is gay the other is in a monogomous relationship with a seriously flighty chik. They have a younger sister who is the normal balance, and there's the mother who is just wayyyyy out there. The series started last year with the father being killed in a car wreck and the hetero brother coming home to a seriously twisted family to keep the business afloat. The father, although dead, is an integral character that shows up to each of them from time to time an offers advice or gives cryptic warnings. It's so funny.

I guess it would be kinda hard to follow if ya missed last years episodes. It kinda flows seamlessly from one show to another. This year picked up right where it left off an it was choice. Check it out sometime TB, sundays at 9pm on hbo. It's like the only thing I do find on tv that has any draw whatsoever. Well, besides the history channel that is.:)

I watched it tonight.

Not bad - but it's not as groundbreaking as everyone says. It's one of those dark-humor everyone-is-quirky-because-quirky-is-funny kinda shows.

I liked it though. I'll watch it again if it occurs to me that it's coming on, but I won't record it if I'm doing something else.

Yeah, I dont really see it as groundbreaking either. But a damm funny show that has it's moments. Sure beats watching half the drivel thats on tv to me. I'm not a tv person per se. The amount of shows I do like can be counted on one hand.

Last season totally pulled me in because of the weirdness of it. I swore I'd never get attached to another show when american gothic went off the air, but this one always leaves me guessing what next? The mom is a flake who pulls off the best of the dark humor. David is a conflicted manwhore:) Nate an claire provide all the troubles. It's too funny.
