For those who like fast-paced metal, check these guys out. They're English, but I won't hold that against them. They have a keyboard player in some of their stuff too.
They used to be called DragonHeart, but they changed the name to DragonForce.

The only way I can describe their sound is "Happy Metal." :D They're heavy and fast, but the vocals are melodic. StarFire is a great power ballad, and Valley of the Damned I think is my favorite of their songs.

I dont remember if it was the lead singer, but one of the guys from exodus appeared in the last "behind the music" of metallica, was it a chubby guy with a rusty voice?

I was never much one for speed metal, or real, real heavy metal. Never cared for Metalica.
If you ever run across a band called Riot you might want to check them out, though. Had an old album from them, can't remember the name, and they were a decent garage metal type band, a couple real good songs, the rest ok, that kind of thing. But then years later I found another one by them caled The Privlidge Of Power, and picked it up, and it was completely different, kind of along the lines of Queensryche, much cleaner and tighter, and a story line to the album.
Good shit if you ever come across it\ in a bargin bin or something.

LOL, in Towlies words, and he is damn right:
"There's more talent in that one band, than in most record labels."
