Blood: The Last Vampire

Just picked this up to rent from my local Blockbuster.
For those who've seen it, what do you think of that strange mix of live action, CGI and traditional animation? Seems to be more distracting that enhancing to the storyline, although (without revealing too much) the movie itself is pretty kick-ass.

Seems as though the Japanese idea of vampire or kyuuketsuki is quite different from the undead demons of Western mythology - who are portrayed as oni [demons] in both anime worlds.*************************

i picked this one up a few month's ago after seeing the trailer
over all i think its a killer movie althought a little to short if you ask me :(
i really like the mix of CGI+CEL work and i look forward to seeing more of this type of work over the coming years

so id say Blood the last vampire is a great pilot episode(id have a hard time bringing myself to call it a movie) and i really hope they have plan's to release more movie's from this storyline id give it an 8/10 :)

I blinked an it was over! Why is this movie cool???? Great anime sure. Not much entertainment for your buck tho.

it would definately like to see more. It seems like the beginning of a series but i have not heard of any more coming out.
