At first I thought, "Finally, instead of wasting my money on a 5 dollar keyboard, I can buy a 200 dollar virtual one!"
But I guess it's designed for mobile use, in which case I also think it's pretty darn cool.

Think about expanding that into a virtual gaming system, where you use hand movements instead of a mouse, and all your buttons are laid out on the table exactly how you want them.
This is the ultimate invention.
It's also April 1st, so don't go running to stores just yet...

I think this is quite impractical, a keyboard isn't THAT big. Also I would miss the "feel" you get when typing on the keyboard. Judging by feel is the easiest way to type, rather then staring down at the keys and pressing them one at a time with your index fingers.

and what about the shadow that would be caused if u press the "t" key u wont be able to see the rest
Looks cool, but I won't be running out to buy one.
that'd friggin' rock for use with my palm pilot.
For use with a desktop.... no way. I'd miss the feel of the keys. It'd take some getting used to, but I think that virtual keyboard would be quite useful... it'd be hard to touch type though. Make for the ultimate portable computing platform... data entry has always bee a pain in PDA's... yeah, the stylus works, but it's slow and prone to mistakes... even if you couldn't type at full speed on that thing, it'd be faster than the stylus on a standard PDA.
