okay im wondering if it's possible for me, to install linux mandrake on my old laptop..

it's a p133 with 64mb ram.. and it go about 2g's of space..
right now its running with xp as a experiment.. the only problem with xp is that it's a bit to slow... heh

model is Ibm Thinkpad 760ED

The new versions of Mandrake and Redhat are a bit too much for that laptop. If you can get Redhat 6.2, that would be the best. But you will have to do a bunch of upgrades to make it work properly. Redhat 6.2 is a very light OS.

okay thx's for the reply.. well sinces its already running with das windows xp pro version i think i i'll try and run either mandrake our redhat.. on it.. because i got about nothing to lose on it..

if it runes about the same as xp does i'll just install my nicely good windows 98 Soo Empty version on it :D
