Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust note

I just read on animenation that the reason VHD Bloodlust only has an english track is because that's how they made it in japan. Vampires are from European culture i believe thus they wanted the movie to be English. A japanese version was also made but it wont likely be brought over here.

Yeah, I infered that from the DVD extras, but that's an unusual reason to make it an English-only track. Japan has its own vampire mythology, though not in the the same vein (pun intended) :)
Besides, I don't know why they couldn't have made the DVD version multi-language like almost every other one out there.
