Story: 7/10
Radium Lavans is a Second Leutenient in the Mars Army. He is 25 years old and was born on Mars. Due to gravitation differences between Mars and Earth, people raised on Mars are much weaker physically than people raised on Earth. As such, Radium has been bullied by Earthlings for most of his career in the Mars Army. He is chosen to pilot a new experimental weapon designed to give a huge advantage to Mars forces. This advantage would allow Mars to release itself from the oppressive (sp?) rule of Earth. The experimental weapon is a mobile armor suit that uses the mysterious Metathon crystals that are native to Mars. The side effects for using these crystals may be more than enough for Radium to handle. When things go wrong, he must choose what is most important to him.
Animation: 9/10
The character designs are quite awesome in ZotE. The animation is nothing out of the ordinary but nothing lacking either.
Sound: 8/10
No complaints. I didnt watch the dubbed version and i just rented the movie so i cant go back and see if it's any good. Subtitled version is just fine IMO.
Extras: 8/10
There are several interviews with some of the key people behind the anime. There are also tons of production sketches and some new trailers i've not had a chance to see before. I finally got to see a trailer for Noir :)
