Just got it and saw it.
Since posting spoilers is :i&w: all I can say right now is that this OVA includes the Rebirth part of Death & Rebirth. So, in short, all you need to see is End of Eva and the story will be complete.
Death & Rebirth only contributes with a few extra scenes from the TV series. But you don't need to see it in order to understand End of Evangelion.
cool i'm glad you posted. I got D&R and EoE on divx but i didnt know if i would miss part of it if i just got the DVD for End of Eva. So basically the only reason to get the D&R dvd is for the recap of the series and the couple of unique scenes? Rebirth is on End of Eva?
Does End of Eva start off where Shinji visits Asuka in the hospital?

ewww...
AFAIK, that scene was a slap in the face to those fanboys who complained about the original ending of the Eva series.
BTW, I still have to see EoE again with subtitles because my sister demanded to set the English dub. Sometimes I catch more of the story with the original japanese dialog and subtitles (this is quite noticeable in Gasaraki).
lol, I remember that scene in the hospital... Took me a few viewings to finally get the whole picture of what was going on(I got kind of a thick head.).
Good movie, tho... I have all 26 episodes, D&R, and EoE in Divx format.
Yeah EOE was pretty good. I still have not got D&R. I almost have the whole collection on DVD. I have all 8 TV series DVD and EOE DVD.
I know D&R sucks , but I got to get that to complete the collection. I was glad that they made EOE, because it cleared up a lot of stuff that kinda just left you hanging in the TV series.
Still overall, Evangelion is good.
:)
