I would like to know what time measurements the DBZ writers use, I think my favorite (or is that least-favorite?) example is in the Frieza saga, when Goku is in the healing chamber, Vegeta said it would take an hour, and about 5-6 real hours had gone by before the "hour" had gone by, or when the planet (any of them) are about to explode, "WE ONLY HAVE 5 MINUTES LEFT UNTIL THE PLANET BLOWS!", (5 episodes go by) "WE ONLY HAVE 4 MINUTES LEFT!", (7 episodes later) "WE HAVE TO HURRY, ONLY 3 MINUTES ARE LEFT!", ect. ect., I swear, if they edited out all the standing around, posing, and threatening and compressed it down, you could probably watch the entire saga of Dragonball from Dragonball to Dragonball GT in less than 5 hours, lol,

You know that's funny since if you watch the beginning it actually looks like Gohan grows up thru to the end of the Cell Saga. Then once they come back to the Buu Saga, Gohan is alot older and you can see some of the other cast members are also, but Goku and Vegeta don't look like they've aged at all.

Go figure.

I noticed that too,

you know, the amount of episodes is mind-boggling, one time I had the exact # of all shows, from Dragonball to Dragonball GT, and did a calculation of how much time it was, and if I remember correctly, you could watch them back-to-back, 24/7 without ANY breaks, and after two weeks you still wouldn't be done, lol,

What's even more mind-boggling is how everyone supposedly gets infinitely stronger ever 15 episodes or so, yet the effect of their attacks remains exactly the same.

In the Saiyan-saga (e.g. before Vegeta and the bald git reach earth), Piccolo blows up the moon (regardless of the apocalyptic effects that would have on the planet) in one go without throwing a fit, yet much later on Frieza with all his power can't even demolish one single planet in the blink of an eye? Right.

DBZ is entertaining, but it's also so full of plotholes/inconsistencies/cliches/plain stupidity it's all but impossible to take it seriously.

Like I have said several times, I AM SICK OF INVINCIBLE VILLIANS!, which the exception of Raditz, and the Androids, how many of the main villians actually WEREN'T practically invincible?, I thought Cell was annoying, he has nothing on Buu, the bastard is blown into little chunks, they incinerated the little chunks, and he STILL came back, a week or so ago they stopped at the episode before the Earth was destroyed in the Buu saga, and when Goku and Vegeta rescue the others from inside Buu, and disconnect the original Buu, he GREW STRONGER, WTF?, he was so strong BECAUSE he absorbed them, and when they finally rescue them you are telling me he gets EVEN STRONGER?, give me a break!,
