Ok, this may not seem like a big deal but trust me, it is. :D I'm an all or nothing kind of dood... i.e. suit and tie or jeans and a t-shirt (or sweatshirt). Anyway, it's been that way for 30 years but today I went and got two pairs of Docker's pants for casual wear. I kinda feel all freaky when I wear 'em :D:D:D (ok, you perv.. not that freaky :P )...

Anyway, they were a light tan pair and a medium tan pair. I also got a Docker's wallet and a nice belt. I'm on a budget too so no real spiffy stuff :D I was hoping to hold off on buying any new clothes until I got married (they'll buy all your close and you'll like it) but since that hasn't happened I just looked around the mall to see what folks were wearing and purchased said items.

I still gotta get some new shoes. With some luck (and duct tape) maybe I can hold off until either the freezing of the hades or marriage.. whichever comes first.

Better keep an eye out for the fashion police

They aren't that bad :P I should pull out the digicam and take some picks. I just needed something that wasn't "suit and tie" or "jeans and t-shirt" to wear around while w*rking.

Oh... and in Montana you can wear about whatever you want, lol. You could be referencing the cowboys or ranchers when thinking you'll be severely beaten for wearing Docker's but I have no fear. Cowboys wear Wrangler jeans and thus cut all flow of blood to their testicles.. i.e. no testosterone. I can take 'em :D

I hope you bought them at Winners.. They have a million pairs of them for under $20/pc I don't own any myself.. I tried a pair, didn't like the ones I tried.. So I bought some Karl Kanes instead :)

msan,

I was like that too. Jeans or suit/tie. At work we've gone casual, and I hate the current "uniform" of choice: Dockers and polo shirt.

I wear 'em, but I'm never comfortable. I'd be more comfortable in a suit, or better yet, jeans and a tee.

Anyway, welcome to conformity. :)

I can't stand polo shirts, mostly because they are stiff. Dress is pretty casual where I work though, so I get away with jeans, but have slacks as well.

I'm kind of in fashion limbo at the moment.

Hehe :D I'm not a prep! I hope, lol.

I got them at Sears of all places and they were right around $20 a pair. I don't buy much at Sears but if it's less there and it's the same thing you would buy at another more "cool" store for more... well... Sears it be then :D

I like a suit actually. I guess it makes me feel all dressed up and important or something, lol. I have my favorite ties too. I have my red power tie for times I know I'll be in a "situation" and my yellow tie which I wear for more casual things. I'm not much for polo shirts either anymore. Dockers don't say "prep" to me nearly as much as a polo shirt. Normally I'll wear a button up the front shirt or a sweater... either with a turtle neck. Odd, the only thing I don't like about a tie is it feels like a constrictor snake sometimes but don't mind the turtle neck.

I can get away with jeans at work too, especially tan jeans. Unfortunately jeans are a lot like my house... no ballroom. :D Can't wear jeans in court tho... Funny how the judge gets mad at the ladies if they don't wear skirts, rotf :D There was an office joke today where all the women said they were gonna wear mini-skirts and fish net stockings with a name tag that said "Merry Christmas Judge" the next time we go, rotf :D
