The second season of the original Zoids is called Guardian Force (Japanese) but I will just call it by the name that most Americans are use to.

I don't like how they ripped off the Jurassic Park theme, if you listen to the US version in the intro "On the planet Zi, ect. ect. ect." towards the end they use the Brachiosaurus theme, and it irks me that they ripped it off,

Uh, it's sort of ecchi but I wouldn't call it hentai. Doesn't get much worse than some sexual innuendo and a few topless shots as far as I know.

Actually he is cool in the anime and manga... He likes sweats and he sells dangerius pets to people who down moral wrongs or crimes and if they do not follow the contract they either die a horrible dealth or something else happens to them and Count D never gets arrested. Very cool villian in away but then again he is not really a villian.

I've got news for you: for centuries, women were banned from acting in Europe as well, meaning female characters had to be played by men as well. I think it wasn't until the 18th or maybe even 19th century that female actors appeared on stage (without serious objections, anyway).

I doubt it's got anything to do with openmindedness - I really think the Japanese as a people have serious problems regarding sex/sexuality as well as social behaviour in general. At least, I'd have to conclude that considering the craziest and most demeaning or horrific things come from Japan. There are really f***ed up people there.
