Anyone who knows about Beautiful Dreamer

OK, I need your guys' help. A few years back, the Sci-fi channel showed Beautiful Dreamer during the summer when they were having their little Anime festival thingy. I absolutely loved it, and have since been wanting to buy it. Well I've finally got some spending cash and nothing else I really want, so I figured I'd pick it up.

Now here's the problem:
I remember them saying something about there being a really long series to Beautiful Dreamer, and I've seen a VHS copy of it in the local Fry's but it says "vol. 2" on it. Which one should I be looking for exactly? The one I saw appeared to be a movie, and it was about a group of kids who keep perpetually waking up from dreams, but each world they wake up in is different from the last. I'm so lost as to what I should be trying to find.

If you wanna know about the series, it is a long one called Urusei Yatsura done by Rumiko Takahashi (of Ranama 1/2 fame). Animeigo does the TV Series and there are lots of OVAs and Movies. Hopefully this is what you're looking for. If not, then I'm not exactly sure (based on your description).

Yeah, that's the VHS I've seen (I think they also have the DVD at the Anime Plus around here, which is good because I'm going there tomorrow). I wasn't sure at first if that was the one I needed to get since it says "Movie 2" on it. Thanks for the help! :D
