I can only ponder three situations that would lead a modern day card on current hardware to score 25000 3DMarks:

1) A new, different version of 3DMark that runs totally different tests.
2) A run where the screen is totally black with no graphics as all the graphics calls and geometry routines in the drivers are "no operation + return" blocks instead of actual driver routines.
3) The Geforce FX is being pushed back even further and these scores are projected/stipulated scores for how performance will be on the upcoming Intel Pentium 5, 6.5ghz Ludicrous-Speed(tm) MorningWood core processor.

The funny thing that makes me laugh is the card would not even run a Nvidia Demo at a display show without crashing!!!! I sure it runs everything else really great though hahahaha .. junk..

That is why I have a Radeon9700pro in my PC it's real... no fake hype,,, and a kick ass card..... plain and simple.

Maybe but it might be too little too late for this cycle, just like almost all of my friends upgraded to the GeForce SDR/DDR because they were tired of waiting for the Voodoo 5 almost all of my friends are upgrading to Radeon 9500/9700 because they are tired of waiting for the GeForce FX.

um neither have you as its not available Dabbie.

However I do wonder why the need to wait for a gfFX and pay (UK prices) - £150 more/I assume around $150 more for 10-30% more performance and perhaps no performance when looking at 4xAA and even worse IQ as the FX 4xAA is OG and will need say 6xS to beat the 9700 AA IQ. How many sites will compare 4xAA to 6xS etc.?

FX is a fillrate king - no doubt - but its an unbalanced card. I see nothing that makes me unhappy with £251 on a 9700Pro 10 weeks ago compared to £350-400 on an FX next month.
