That would be Pitch Black. Not the greatest movie, but surely worth the rental price.

Darkness Falls looks like it might be decent, but I'll probably wait for some "word of mouth" before I consider seeing it.

someone else i know compared it to that movie and i kinda wanted to smack them, hell i will smack you next time i see you. Anyway, its gonna be nothing like Pitch Black, that movie was a sci-fi with monsters, this is a supernatural thriller which makes it much more scary and kewl. This critic said that it will "Run rings around The Ring" i kinda doubt that but hey i will hopefully see this weekend.

I just got through watching it. Some People might like it. I didn't.
Had the whole Frightners thing going on with the Effects. A few parts were scary though. I'm not going to recommend it. It borrowed alot from Pitch Black to.

First half of the movie is quite good, and quite scary. Second half...well, imo, it sucks.

Screen directors should know that in those kind of movies, you don't put action scenes with lots of gunshots. You also don't show much of the evil creature that has been stalking the main characters from the beginning....The Ring runs rings around DF...no questions about it.

I heard it really wasnt that good, if anything, i would just rent it.
