Evangelion on Toonami

Yall may or may not of known this, but Evangelion is on, or will be coming on Toonami. I was watching it today, and currently am, and I saw a comercial with an Eva in it. Then I looked at the guide and see that Evangelion is coming on monday at 430. I don't know if it has been on or not, since I don't watch much tv till 6-7 or so.

yeah it would probably be censored to hell. I gotta rewatch that series some time. I own it buti havent watch it yet. Seen it along time ago on VHS tho.

Hmmm... yeah it has a lot of violence in it and they are probably going to dub it of course so that will ruin everything...

Poor Rei and Shinji... I would hate to hear Asuka cause her voice would be real annoying in English Dub. LOL! :D

NGE english voice acting isnt bad. That's how i watched the series the first time. I was rewatching it subtitled just recently but i only got midway through disc 2.

I have so adapted to watching anime subtitled that dubbed just sounds funny to me..

I guess it doesnt really matter cause I probably wont watch it on toonami cause I have already seen the whole series.

Just hope they keep the action in there and do not cut out too much stuff, cause it would really suck for those who have not seen the anime yet.

I don't think they're gonna show all of Eva. It's just part of the special robot week their doing which shows Gigantor, Macross/Robotech, and Eva along with some others I couldn't recognize in the commercial.

I'd like to see them play EoE on Toonami...:naughty: And still keep it understandable and enjoyable with editing.

Wow, 2 WHOLE episodes of Eva. After that, they're probably gonna shelf it since it's only Giant Robot Week and there hasn't been anything said of keeping the series' running.

The only good series they showed were Evangelion, Dai-Guard, and Nadesico.

Dai-Guard - maybe good
Nadesico - alright
Robotech - I didn't like it

I wouldn't mind seeing those series. I have really been wanting to see Steel Angel Kurumi and Mahoromatic, as well as Chobits. Maybe Hand Maid May.

they definately couldnt show Mahoromatic or Steel Angel Kurumi on network TV. Mahoromatic has quite a bit of gratuitous nudity and SAK has nudity as well as a plethora of F and S words. They could get away with showing HMM pretty easily tho.

I would love for them to show SAK . I am enjoying this series so far. If I only had the money to buy the second DVD. :(

I am going to the doctor on Tues and I have to save money for that.

Honestly the only thing that they need is a dedicated anime channel that only plays anime. That way we can get a chance to see anime that has not been released and anime that we have not seen yet.

Toonami doesnt really cut it IMO !
