Who here plays everquest?

Mwhahaha, I know drakk's gonna kill me for posting this, since hes sick and tired of hearing about everquest from me, but Im just curious about who else on here plays it.

I cant remember anyone saying they play Everquest, but i do know that a few people here including myself play Asherons Call.

longdog24 asked for people's opinions a few months ago about it, because he was thinking of getting it, and everyone said it sucked, he went out and bought it anyway, and tried it, and he said it was a mistake, it sucked, and he could not return it then, lol,

I play AO, EQ is crap....then again so is AO....WoW will be pretty sweet...I hope. <img src="redface.gif" border="0">

I enjoyed Everquest for about 3 months. It consumed me during that time. It just got to be tedious after a while. If the server was crowded then you couldn't find a group because they were all full. If the server wasn't full then you couldn't find enough people to form an effective group. You'd spend countless ours either meditating or walking around. And instead of feeling more powerful as you leveled up, you begin to feel weaker because all the monsters that give xps can hand you your ass unless you are a necro or a druid.

What made it even worse was the lame ass guilds. If you finally did get in a good spot in a good group then you gotta contend with some kill stealer 20 levels higher than you stealing the good loot for his girlfriend or his guild.

With all that aside, I'm going to give Star Wars Galaxies a try when it comes out because I think they will fix all the things that made EQ bad and add other good ideas from other online games. This game has a lot bigger budget than the original EQ did. I can't wait to explore the Star wars universe in full 3D. It'll be like being 8 years old again. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

<br />Sorry... I never played it. My friends did for about 4 months, then they quit when I started giving them crap for never leaving the computer. I mean... they planed their lives around everquest. When a battle was going to happen, when this would spawn, or that would spawn. When a ferry would be there. It was rediculious. I almost bought it and plaed with them.. but, I just couldn't waste that much time.
