Man, and I thought my sub-woofer alone could produce enough rumbling to drive my parents insane. Now my little brother has Dance Dance Revolution and he goes to town on this thing. With him stomping and my sub thumping, I expect the neighbors will have us kicked out soon enough :D

Ah well, they deserve it anyway. They have this pain-in-the-ass little dog (it's a shame to call it a dog since my cat is bigger) and the thing barks at really early hours. Of course the people who own it do NOTHING to stop it. They actually seem to encourage the stupid thing. And if the dog doesn't wake everyone up then it's the fact that the woman vacuums at 6:00 in the morning!!
Damn, after writing this it made my realize how pissed I am at these people
Up with the bass!!!

In all honesty, I don't know enough about sound systems to tell ya :p
I've pretty much adopted my dad's theory, "If it sounds good, buy it". I've got the Altec Lansing ADA880 setup and the sub is 40 watts. I personally wouldn't get anything from Creative, as most of their stuff seems overpriced and excessive. The great thing about the ADA880's is that although it's got 4 speakers, it still only uses 1 output port, since the sub has a cross-over that outputs everything correctly. I'm pretty sure this would save you a little bit of performance since your other hardware doesn't have to sort out the channels.
