Automatic Windows 2000 log on...?????

Hi everybody

One of my friends told Windows 2000 to automatically log him on when installed first time. How do you disable this stupid auto-log on feature???

Use X-teq and you can enable and disable that feature with a click.

Control Panel, Users and Passwords, put a check in the box that says "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"

Yea, your friend forgot to READ what was on the screen when he installed. =)

This box is supposed to be unchecked to enable autologon.
If it's already unchecked, check and uncheck it, then it will prompt you for the Autologin settings.
