oh and once they used that multiple layer (I believe it has 4) q3 bench, it wouldn't have hurt to include a kyro2 too in the benches.

Something like:
Radeon is an interesting product. It is essentially an Ultra for the Radeon series.
It fills the gap for the *hardcore* gamer.
If it was 250MHz, it would be more competitive against the Ultra, but that seems to be only acheivable for the upcoming RV200 based on the 0.15µ process. Re Radeon2 is ATI's plan for the full DX8 sollution..

something about *heaven* and the gamecube.

a Radeon SE release is definitely bad news what the R200 concerns, if they supposedly follow a 6 month cycle. Let's hope they will be able to get it before X-mas out the door. I wonder when that R200 "technology announcement" will take place....... :rolleyes:

no RadeonSE its, radeon chip designed by ATi to maintain a slightly higher frequency, but it is not manufactured by ATi, nor will it be ever manufactured by ATi. Its a chip for a *long time friendly company.* ;) ;)
