Kinda like the x3dfx.com message board, IMO!

What drew me here initially was the intellectual talk of all things video card related.

What this site has degenerated into is nothing but personal attacks and dumb conversation.

I am moving onto other 3D boards (which I won't name for the sake of anyone following and turning those boards into crap as well, just like what happened at x3dfx) where the conversation is grounded in real conversation about 3D cards and the future.

I'll pop back in from time-to-time, back this site is certainly off my "favorites" list.

No slam to slacker, as a board is only as good as the peeps who post in it.

In the meatime, try to keep it real, y'all...the way it USED to be around here.

Beg your pardon, &lt;jeepers&gt;, but it is not like the x3dfx boards. If you make a mistake with a post here, people don't eat you alive for it. People here are more interested in interaction and discussion, rather than just wild speculation. People here may tease someone here for the fun of it, but that's different than testing your ability to withstand verbal abuse. People here are just as interested in who we are as much as what we know. It would be a boring board if nothing but geek informaion was presented, but when new information of note appears, you'll see it here discussed by knowledgeable people, and you'll be able to join that discussion without concern in case you don't have the same level of expertise. You can afford to have some fun here. That's definitely not like the x3dfx board at all. :D

let the guy have his opinion. We can't force anyone to stay, but I'll personally miss each and everyone when he leaves.... :D

I said time and time again that the 3D scene has become boring lately and most issues have been already covered.

I'm sorry but I can't discuss the same old issues over and over again.

Instead of just closing the door behind you, you could get more productive and contribute to the board with attempts to fire up some good discussions. But it is definitely your choice.
