The quick and dirty: I want to play around with The Disciple set. I have at my disposal only the armor.

I don't know why I never paid any attention to this set, it's kind of cool I think. I've run across the gloves and boots before but they are long long gone lol, me.. not even realising what I let slip through the fingers.

Now, I know the individual items are quite valuable outside of a set. Experience tells me that Laying of Hands is one of the favorite gloves in existance, and Telling of Beads is a +1 skills ammy right out of the box. Put that together with the fact that I don't have tons of stuff to trade might make my mission impossible.

However, if anyone is even open to letting me borrow the stuff, I'm cool with that. If not and you need a trade, I do have hordes of runes available and not just the cheap ones. It's the only thing I saved when I started chucking everything away. Off the top of my head I know I have Sol, Lem, Ko, Tir, Dol, Io, Lum, Hel...I think I have Fal and Shael too...

Anyway, thats about it. The only other offer I have is the armor when I'm done screwing around with the set.

*cough* errr, in light of recent news (http://www.battle.net) I must point out I have Pul runes available as well. I hadn't mentioned them because I believed them worthless until 30 seconds ago...

i had the full set on my assassin and i didnt like it all that much. The belt is by far the HARDEST part to find, and you will probably have to trade for it. I've found 2 of the armors, 2 of the ammys, 58 of the boots and 20 or so of the gloves. I found the belt once from Eldritch the Disemboweler or whatever his name is up above shenk.

er forgot to mention i dont have the belt anymore. It was deleted (the entire set), along with my stormshield and 3 bartucs claws. Lost the entire account :(

I feel your pain, my MF sorc on D2 Classic was deleted a long time ago cuz of inactivity.. SOJs galore.. (when they were accually worth something, too!)

Yah... dog gone elites. I was shocked to see the unid'd Dusk Shroud laying on the ground in a cow game.

I'm not sure how good it will be honestly, I just want to fool with it :D It's got some pretty good bonuses and an awesome resist package on it and still has both hands and ring slots open for more :)

it's a decent set, having +3 to all skills and 50% resist all when you wear it. I would probably like to use it on my zon right now if i stilll had it. It's got some weird bug tho and it's poison damage is something like 26 poison over 0 seconds. Not sure what that's supposed to mean unless it's just instant damage. Even then, 26 does nothing when you have to be level 59 or something to wear the full set.

Bastige! You know I have the gloves :D I find the boots about once a week and sell them for a loss to Ormus :( Ormus is a tricky bastige but one badass used car salesman.

Anyway, gloves are yours when you need them. As for the belt and stuff.... I have no clue on how to build a good mf char for hm. My sorc can do about 7 in 10 hm Meph runs without dying, my barb 10 out of 10 but it takes so freaking long, and my zon... well Noot, you saw my zon doing hm Meph runs with your barb :D

I'll save the stuff for the set though.

Amazing turnabout of events :D I somehow managed to secure every item in the set with the exception of the belt.

Armor - found myself (what started it all)

Ammy - courtesy of Stryker who asked for nothing, but has runes coming to him when he needs them

Boots - I was going to try and trade Trip for his pair with my Waterwalks, but Gibb ended up finding a pair and tossed them at me instead. Good thing because...

Gloves - These cost me. The best melee gloves in the game come at a price...even still, I think I over paid. I traded my pair of Waterwalks AND the Lem Ko and Tir runes which make a wealth armor. Oh well. I've had those runes forever and they probably wouldn't have ever been used.

That leaves the blasted belt, Gibb was right, people are very proud of this belt. I had two people whisper me willing to sell it, but I didn't have anything worthwhile to offer. (Nats set will NOT be disassembled lol)

Oh well. Something to shoot for :D

Nice, funny enough msan and I were chatting about Diablo karma the other day. I sincerely believe it exists and that's a reason I gladly give stuff away...it always seems to come back just when you need it. :)

I think I'm gonna craft a pure bowazon actually. Guided and freezing will be maxed, then I dunno. I've read SO many different theories now on which skill is good and which one sucks...

Like the passive offense skill that raises Attack rating... (penatrate?) One guy said 1 point, one guy said max it. The one point guy said, why do you need it if you have 'always hits' skills? Good point... except Multishot lol.

Msan, how do you get your multishot to hit consistantly? Those flying burritos always seem to strike home when we play... but last night I was running around Act4 NM and I was hitting with about 1/3 of the arrows. My chance to hit was listed as 55% even though dexterity was cranked up...

i have been looking everywhere for a lidless wall and was in the midst of changing my MF stuff on my zon to my sorc (was actually looking for a shaftstop but i know how friggin hard it is to find someone willing enuff to trade for one.)

well anyway i give out my mavinas bow and some other pretty good stuff cuz of lack of room left in my inv.

so... i waltz into a trading room and there was shiz ALL over the ground...

i found a lidless wall, skullders, and an occy ring.

i used the wall, traded the skullders for a shaftstop, and traded the occy ring for a tal rasha's mask.


o and also!! this guy gave me a string of ears FOR FREE!!!

i am seriously thinkin there is somethin freaky goin on around here...

well.. i must admit.. ive been in duping games before.. they are extremely rare.. and a pain in the ass to detect.. but they do happen.. some people just make games all day trying to detect a duped game.. once someone finds one.. the trading market goes insane. If you wanna know how i can tell you, but i dont wanna make it a public thing.

People all have different ideas about "legit" anyway. Some say no hacked items. Some say no hacked items, but maphack / pindlebot are okay. Some say ABSOLUTELY nothing that they dont pick up themselves.

Personally, I'm not against trading. I think it's a huge part of the experience of Diablo, haggling away for those items you want. Unfortunately dupes are around and I may loose items some day in a blink. Such is life :D I won't ever use a hacked item knowingly though.

those Rites of Passage boots i gave you are probably duped Noot. I got em from meph and i've gotten probably 10 or 12 pairs from him. I think that evil bastage is duping em left and right.

lol, the Diablo karma hits again. I always hit because of buriza's 100% penetrate and awesome dmg. It's really the poor mans Windforce if you throw on a Shael and have some ias equip, like Laying of Hands..... Plus, I have 300 Dex, and massive char damage. Hit points... not so good. I use leech like a mofo :D

i dunno, i think buriza seems to have a speed cap on it. Even with a shael in it (which i hvae tried before) and lots of IAS equipment, it still seems rediculously slow to me. it's hella fast on my druid tho (using werewolf). I prefer Lycanders Aim over buriza on my zons.

I do too for most stuff... but the extra cold damage in hm sold me on it. I can do a bloody run in no time with multishot. It's the phys immunes that seem to keep the buriza in the #1 slot.
