A thought just occured to me on 1.10s release date...

There is no way Blizzard is going to release that patch around the time the WC3 expansion is released. They would loose sales volume most assuredly.

My hope is that it will be coming in the next couple of days. After that it will back up until August :(

So how bad will this 1.10 business affect currently existing characters? I've really only seen how some of the items are changing/can be changed.

Whelp... there is major speculation that any item that you have that originated in a hack or dupe will magically disappear. Aside from that not to much will change on existing characters.

There is the skill synergy system, but that could take a day to lecture you on. Lets just say that lv 1-18 skills suddenly have found meaning in life and weak chars like elemental druids will find themselves much stronger.

Players will have the option of course of playing whats called a "ladder" character. These will only be able to play in ladder games, so a brand new economy will be created. This is where I will be spending my time :)
