Here (http://www.albatron.com.tw/images/product/it/vga/Picture/Big/FX5900.gif) it is. NVIDIA managed to lower the temps by 6.3C from the 5800's 100C idle..... Albatron managed to get the temps down to 80.1C idle I wanna see how people will OC this card when it's already OCed by NVIDIA. They have 3 problems to fix now, that's IQ, size, & heat. By fixing these 3 things and NVIDIA will have people buying their cards again.

:D :D :D

You forgot "performance"- so far, as the websites are proving, if you run anything outside a selective, driver optimized set of benchmarks and timedemos, the flagship NV cards are substantially slower.

Is it true that TSMC is still using a high-K dielectric on their .13μm process? As far as I'm aware they were just showing off their low-k plans earlier this month.

I think that's when we'll see the temperature breakthrough, when we start seeing chips made on a .13μm low-k dielectric process. Then they'll be able to crank the speed up even higher.

Poor nVIDIA! First their flagship card is compared to a dustbuster cause the fan is too loud. Now its compared to a oven that's specifically used by kids cause its too hot. I'll tell you what nVIDIA's problem is: their flagship products continue to be mistaken by the industry for products that aren't even in the same ballpark cause of that one big catch you have to deal with based on the design of the card. Damn nVIDIA is looking like Jim Carrey after him filming "The Cable Guy": they both mentally lost it both on stage and off and have yet to get it back! I am out!

my friend's uncle is going to be buying a 5900 ultra monstrosity when it is released in new zealand. of course, he could get a Radeon 9800 Pro for $200 less (NZ), yet he still refuses. I don't know whats wrong with him to want a 5900 ultra
