So I get my car back on Friday, didn't drive it all weekend as I was up at the race track.
I drive home from work yesterday:
Guy pulls out in front of me w/o looking. Hit my breaks and miss him.
18-wheeler makes a wide turn into my lane as I was approaching, had to hit my breaks to stop out of his turn radious.
The persion directly in front of me, moves over to the very far right of the lane, as if they are going to make a right turn. He goes straight.
Either people are getting extraordinarally dumber, or this car is bad luck.
I guess you just attract trouble :dunno:.

I should mention that I've never had problems like these with my other cars.

Just don't let her borrow your car.
i've noticed this extreme phenomenon as well. I consider myself a very good driver, but lately it seems that complete dipsh!t drivers are in excess and it's hard to be a good defensive driver for every single person on the road. The other day i was driving along the winding narrow road out where my house is. I was driving about 50 feet behind one of those flatbed worker trucks with 80 thousand pieces of lawn equipment and giant pipes. We come around a corner and there's another one of those work trucks off in the ditch about 300 feet in front of us. The sheriff is parked by it and is out by the road putting up cones cause the guy ran straight through the guardrail. I usually dont gawk at accidents but i was just watching the sheriff and the wreck for a second before lookin back to the road. AHH!!!! that worker truck that i was following was COMPLETELY DEAD STOPPED. I slammed on my breaks and screeched to a halt about 5 feet behind him. Turns out he just wanted to ask the sheriff a question, so what better place than the middle of the road to do so.

I'd say you were the same skill level as everyone else ;).
Everyone seems to consider themselves a very good driver or better, people should actually test that theory out and see how good they really are by going to a defensive driving course or something.
i htink the true question we are trying to ask is
Is this good for the company?

I used to think the same thing myself. Until people started talking on cell phones, smacking their kids in the back seat, putting on their makeup, doing homework, watching movies, don't speak English or can read signs....
At which point I've discovered that I'm a hell of a lot better than most people on the road.

Well, in all fairness children do need to be beaten :dunno:. The rest of them have no excuse though.
