we could play offa the same version for far cry, just turn off punkbuster i htink. but ud want to make sure everyone deleted it when they left or else u could get the screw'd. And i think 1.3 made it illegal to use identique cd keys for CoD so we could only play that on the Lan no netplay.

we should have 6 working accounts for CS but Trip hates it, if he's even coming :confused:

yeah well ur machine has to be really beefy to play Far Cry, i had to turn most of my settings to medium to prevent lag and what not and yeah playing CoD in just LAN will be fine by me. Kinda wish they made bots you could play against on CoD. Yeah i beleive alex is coming, corey isnt tho. We can arrange games for everyone, me and Trip will talk this afternoon anyway. So you're definite on coming Icoop??? Is Shonyo coming ?????

if everyone uses the same cd-key and everyone goes out through the same static ip address, the server wont know the difference :rolleyes:

remember, thats why CoD worked when everyone was over here at my house, but afterwards no one could get on at the same time because there were different ip's

I hate that Cod lags alittle on my laptop. Guess i will try new settings to see if it will speed it up. :dunno:

Actually, 1.4 of COD just came out, and punkbuster is now in. Punkbuster isn't so stupid, it knows if your on the same IP and same key ( A la Quake 3)... so sadly, we can't play COD online anymore since 99% of servers are gonna require it to be on because of massive cheating. :( I'm gonna buy my own copy of it sometime though, i hate leeching off anyone. I think COD/far cry are the only two games on my computer i don't own, but that'll change soon ;).

As for CS, i don't mind playing it, it's just i got bored of it after playing it for 2 years (5 years ago, haha), it might be fun again when i play it again ;).

We need more games, like older cheaper games that EVERYone can run, and that we can all buy at walmart for like 10 bucks... Or maybe a Mod for Quake 1/3 Quake 2 when i buy another copy of it, damnit... i can't believe i lost that! :mecry:

Here's the list of multiplayer games that i own: (Which means they're probably good games, haha)
Mechwarrior 4: - Dunno how it is on LAN-play, its fun as hell single-player, though.
Quake 3 Arena - Duh, it's great!
UT 2003 - Why play it when we have UT 2004? haha
Half Life - Good good
Mechcommander 2 - Fun game, kind of strategy like Starcraft, cept with mechs.
Deus Ex - Crappy multiplayer, bleh.
Serious Sam - Seriously fun on co-operative mode
No One Lives Forever 2 - I bet it'd be pretty good.
Starcraft Brood War - One of my all-time favorite multiplayer games
Rune - Dunno, i tried it once, but it was only 1 on 1, so i can't say much.
ENEMY NATIONS - Takes wayyyyyyyyy too damn long to play a game, like 24 hours...
Quake 1 - It speaks for itself :headbang:
Need for speed's (I've got like every game ever made) - They're decent.
Diablo - Only 4 players
Diablo 2 - Only 8 players and you need your own copy
Duke Nukem 3d - This game is FUN AS HELL to play, i'd seriously play this :).
Serious Sam 2 - Just as good as the first
Halo - BLAH!
Unreal Tournament (original) - Fun, slow paced as well.
Unreal (Original) - Dunno about this.
Mechwarrior 2 - Probably won't run on windows XP
Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries : Same as Mechwarrior 4
Mechcommander - Fun
Freelancer - Fun multiplayer, but STRYKER or MANIAC has my copy ;)
Starlancer - Don't even try it.

Quake 2 - I wish i could find it :(

Yeah i wanna play some MechWarrior 4 I always loved those games and Duke Nukem 3D is one of the first games i seriously got into when i got a PC. I definetly wanna play some UT2004 i love that game.

It takes a bit to install (No where near as long as UT2004) but it's a fun game (Mechwarrior 4)

I think UT2004/Far Cry are probably the only games that won't run on your computer, Montero... Mechwarrior 4 is 3 years old or so.
