Surge is a very awesome person....he actually invited me to my first LAN down in Salisbury NC. He lives out of town but frequents Roxboro very often. Very kewl guy:bigthumb:

I'm the really tall guy that was there at the last one. I'm friends with Blitz, Swoosh, Nick, and Sphinx who I met through Nick who works at Esinc. I've been doing the LAN party thing for a while now, threw two or three for Arstechnica.com messageboarders in NC. I had a big one for my birthday in Winston-Salem which is where I saw Sphinx, probably do another this year if I find a spot. I also went to one of the really big ones http://www.gamersgauntlet.com/ thrown by some Redhat Linux employees, sadly they don't have them anymore for lack of venue.

I got to taste my first Bawls there(granted I knew about it from Thinkgeek but didn't have the nerve to order a case at the time).
