I just bought a Linksys/Cisco 802.11g wireless router. It's good & fast when it's connected but it keeps on knocking me offline when other wireless networks are detected. Anyone have any ideas as to how to remedy this???

Yeah, but that's not the problem, it keeps knocking me offline when other wifi networks are found...... I have to reconnect to MY router to get back online.

Sorry, Mike. I don't think I can help you. Wait for Ail or Sharky.

Are you using Windows XP? I believe when you create a wireless profile it will save all the settings and passwords, so when your network is detected it joins it automatically. How do u have it setup in the OS?

Oh I've solved the problem. I've turned of auto connection and deleted all of the other networks in my area. Ive been online all night since then. Time to get an antenna booster so I can get a T1 for $30 a month through http://www.t-mobile.com/hotspot/services_plans.htm
