...I wasn't really bothered by them, although most were outraged, to say the least, by them.

They did have a bit of goofy moments (being dragged by the AT-ST after trying to trip it with the rope, and that one Ewok on the speederbike, and not to mention the Ewoks throwing rocks at the Stormtroopers), but I really didn't mind them at all.

Am I the only one?

I never really minded them, either. People need to stop taking Star Wars so seriously, it was always supposed to be a big tribute to '50s sci-fi anyway.

Yeah... but... they're Ewoks!

I tell you what bothers me more. And that is the "new" song by Sly Snoodles or whatever her name is that sounds like a broadway number.

I actually laugh at the Ewok comedy moments. Like the one on the leg of the AT-ST, banging away with his stick  Or how they jump when R2 zaps them  Or that song they sing: lola lolalola lola...

They're like little teddybears, lol... Or maybe wookies cut in half and then cut in half again.

The one thing that made me laugh is when that one (forget what that one's name is) is driving the speederbike, and tries to look back, and almost falls.

That was really sad when one of them dies, though. :(

I loved the ewoks, lol

I never knew people hated them ... ?

The only thing about the SE that is bad in the ewok respect is the final song is fakked in the SE...the original is FAR better

It would have been so much more cool if they went to Kashyyyk like originally planned.

Wookies > Ewoks

Wookies are awesome, and I can't wait to see em in Episode III. :)

BTW, that was also pretty funny in ROTJ when Chewie and those Ewoks hijack the AT-ST, and when Chewie is standing on top of it, he almost falls.

Wouldn't have made that much sense, though. Why would the Empire initiate such a top secret project such as the construction of another Death Star right on top of one of the more renowned planets in the galaxy, populated by highly tempered Wookiees at that?

Nightmare:

George Lucas has Ewoks digitally removed from ROTJ, and has Gungans (Jar Jar's) put in digitally.

Hell, he took out Sebastian Shaw and had Hayden Christensen put in. I was kinda mad about that. Also, the originals were much better than the special editions!

Not really. Shaw's head has been replaced in the 'ghost scene' during the Ewok celebrations at the end, but our dear scarred Humpty-Dumpty is still present when Luke removes Anakin's mask.

Yeah, that looks a little weird. Makes kind of sense since he's bald all over, though.

Question is: would you even have noticed that if you hadn't seen it in a side by side comparison?

Yeah right... I'm willing to bet nobody here would be able to tell for sure if he had eyebrows or not if you hadn't seen the movie or pics beforehand and someone told you to pay attention to it...

If anything, it makes more sense that he doesn't have them. I would've guessed that he didn't have any, just because it seems more plausible if you look at the rest of that head of his...
