Anyone dissapointed with the sound quality?

The Visual quality is excellent though

I'll let you know when I finally see it. I still don't even have it, and if I did, monday is probably the first day I'll be able to watch it as I want so I'm feeling very :eat: at the fucking store, my fucking wife and the entire world basically...

It's crystal-fucking-clear compared to the original, which I have on VHS... Not the re-release that was done, but an original VHS copy from when the movie first came out on VHS.

The DVD sound quality of ESB and ROTJ sounds much better than ANH, you are right Scott.

I didn't have any problems with the sound (or video, for that matter - couldn't spot any leftover red boxes surrounding TIE Fighters that some people have been reporting), but then I don't have a very expensive setup (just some aging Creative subwoofer set) and I haven't seen ESB and RotJ yet either.

yep, ESB and ROTJ sound perfect, but ANH sounds flat and tired and old and low quality.

The explosions in ROTJ/ESB have "feel" to them, the ANH ones don't.
