So im sitting here watching ROTJ and i just relized how they killed the badest badass in Mandalionarin history. That was so ghey i mean yeah it funny but really Han hitting his jetpack....Lucas must have had a brain fart on that one

I haven't watched it with the commentary audio track yet (actually I've yet to watch the RotJ DVD altogether), but I've heard Lucas actually admits he made a mistake doing that, since at the time he had no idea Boba Fett would become such a monumentally popular character.

which to me is kinda lame since his character did less imo than even darth mauls' character did. least as far as the movies go :dunno:

yeah he had a cool outfit but otherwise his character was not drawn out at all and you basically learn nothing about him from the movie's that came during his wave of popularity. if he was fleshed out better in the books then either they should have done so onscreen or left him in the books.

:stupid: its kinda silly but he made an appearance in JK3 which means yeah hes alive :rolleyes: but i think the main premise behind everyone loving Boba Fett is he was the only Bounty Hunter to ever do anything cool. And personally i love the way Boba dies, hes sitting there pwning a Jedi and then all the sudden "Mandalorian Mishap" "Boba Fett? Boba Fett!, Where?" and hes dead from a blind and ultimately EXTREMELY lucky Han Solo. I mean really it just builds onto show just how lucky Solo is :cool:

Intrigue my man. He's the mysterious man behind the mask with more toys then James Bond. Thats why people love him, they want to know more about him.

fett is the coolest character ever, and if he died, he died well and at the hands of another badass: Han Solo. And if he did indeed live, then it's all the better. He continues his kicking of asses and taking of names.

That's all I will say. :)

I bet if Lucas would have decided to make Ep. VII-IX, Boba Fett would have made a return.

what the hell was so cool about him? he hardly made no screen time, was just some dude with armor and guns.. i mean he wasn't all that badass.

Same difference. Jango was only there because Boba was so popular. It couldn't really be Boba cuz he'd be too young.
