didnt pursue any free agents of note to fill huge gaps at Defensive Tackle, Cornerback, Quarterback (though thats debatable) and Running Back. I'm sure that if Big Bill said he wanted someone, JJ would've coughed up the cash

lol, how did they choke? They had no business going as far as they did with 2 starting pitchers. Their effort should be applauded, not ridiculed. Nope, the only choke job in the playoffs belonged to the Yankees. ;)

seriously the farm team in our town was a minor leauge team for Detriot. We had some of the team living in the upstairs apartments when I was in high school...

They were good ball players but didnt even know how to turn on a vacuum cleaner on or cook........so I schooled em in house chores and the sis showed em basic cooking skills

They used to keep me in baseballs n stuff... this team would chunk away a baseball for havin a grass stain, stuff us neigborhood kids wouldnt even think about... Im talkin $$$ baseballs. I must had a dufflebag full of expensive baseballs..lol and other items. So I kinda followed some of the palyers when they got called up to Detriot.
