All right, since this is an open beta I think I'll try signing up a little later and I won't mind joining up with you guys if I manage to get in. Before you go accepting me into your ranks though, bear in mind that I'm going to take this opportunity to take the piss out of the game and act very stupid in general. Should I actually at some point appear to be making any attempt at playing seriously, this willl be an unfortunate mistake on my part and I apologise beforehand.

Have you tried the blizzard downloader or waitplanet? ... im getting 10k a second downloads on both :(. Anything is faster then this.

Did the waitplanet thing this morning and it took about 2.5 hours. It then took nearly an hour to extract from the .zip and install.

With my luck, I won't have pixel shader sqrt(2)/3+1.7 and I won't be able to run it off the laptop.

the damn thing was going at liek 10k a second for me... of course i don't have a subscription or anything :(

how the heck did you download it so fast? I have a 184 min wait at file planet, and the blizzard download is currently downloading at 0kb/s for some reason

UPDATE: the installer's pretty slow though. Please hurry up or I will get angry and you will not like me when I am angry for it makes me do terrible things. :mad:

ill be there :cool: ive decided to scratch the dwarf for now and go night elf warrior, they have the highest dmg per hit (DPH) in the game. :woot:

just give me the rest of eternity to install :ugh:

If someone would send me the damn file, it's stuck on 54% and hasn't moved in a hour..... torrents are ass slow, and fileplanet has dropped me out of line TWO fucking times.

same thing just happened to me and its my 2nd time, and blizzard download is at 5%, so if someone coudl somehow send it to me too would be appreciative.

I tried to download it using the Blizzard Downloader but it refuses to work, saying "This download is expired." :dunno:

Anyone else's WoW crashing a lot? I think it's because I have an Asus A7N8X-X (A few people were talking while I was playing and I noticed them mention a few people with A7N8X's had problems). I'd install the newest nforce drivers, but I can't install Service Pack 1 :O.

27% downloaded and an estimated 1 day and 7hrs left at the most. I had to stop it because the upload was killing my bandwidth and i'm trying to write a paper. When will the beta end because I seriously doubt that I will even be able to play it until saturday. I don't plan on playing the game, I just want to get a taste of what it's like.

I finally got the game downloaded.... now waiting on the long-ass installation... I'll tell ya if it crashes on me since i've got the same motherboard.

when the signups were down, i was talking to my sis' bf, who's been in WoW beta for a while, and I had mentioned that the pages were down. he left and later on he got back on after i was asleep not knowing that i'd signed up and got my sis to sign up for me, so if anyone needs an account ive got an extra
