they have the 30th ranked defense against the run and pass without him. I wouldnt nessecarily look past Tampa, Seattle or the Saints. All can play tough - the Falcons have lost, badly, those two games they should have won

TO is out, they have no other receivers. If I was an opposing team facing the Eagles, I would let Todd Pinkston run routes through the middle, you know hes not gonna catch it!! He is the biggest wuss in the NFL. Westbrook is the only guy McNabb can throw the ball to now, and he's the RB.
Key to beating the Eagles without TO: Dont let Westbrook get loose, and you will beat them.

preaching to the choir. i am of the mind that the eagles won their last game weeks ago. i love their excuses too for losing the last 2 games. as if finishing the season on a strong note was never on their agenda :rolleyes: well w/e i cant stand the eagles and love seeing them lose. they had a soft schedule this year compounded with the fact that many teams in this league flat out suck so they got over for ahwile. now it's back to reality for them.
hehe i'm sure they'll have plenty of excuses ready and waiting for when they do lose ;)

Well I don't like the Eagles, but I know for sure they played all of their backups in the last game and McNabb only played one series 2 games ago and equalled the offense that the other qb's for the eagles had going into the 4th quarter in one drive. Still the backups could of put up a better game against cincy but I am glad they got pounded. I think they were just scared of risking anymore injuries, after losing TO they can't afford to lose anyone else.

yep and i know all the teams in this city suck loadz.
btw MAC......pittsburgh played backups too and went 15-1. the eagles are just losers who are now exposed without their 1 guy who can catch a ball. and although westbrook can field a pass he's not gonna stretch any defenses.
they will lose cuz thats what they're accustomed to. like i said the sports media is already gift wrapping excuses for them.

very true about Pittsburgh, and they had a tougher match against Buffalo who actually had something to play for unlike Cincy who just wanted to improve their record. But yea the eagles are nothing without TO and they will not go far in the playoffs.

what it means is the team that can win with backups has enough depth to be a championship team while the other is just a pretender. what happens if donnie goes down in the first quarter of their game? or westbrook? or any of their D guys? well from the looks of it they will certainly lose if any of that happens since their backups are incompetent. and from the beating their backups took the last 2 games i'd say they're HIGHLY INCOMPETENT ;)
