So... how does this game run on Dial-up?? cause all i can get is dialup... so i just wanted to know how the game works on it.

dont think any of us could tell ya :shrug: but latency isnt supposed to be an issue... my complete guess is that you'd be ok except on raids.

honestly dude, i would say to skip it
wait til Diablo3 or something when you have broadband. I'm lagging enough as it is with broadband, you'll only be miserable. You wont be able to outrun enemies because you're 20 feet behind where you think you are

I dunno, im getting a ~500 ping on occasion and the game is still smooth.

my ping is usually around 400-500 on broadband

occassionally (like early in the morning) i get 200, but it's usually in the 400s.

I used to get like ~60 - 100 ping about 2 weeks ago. I don't know what happened but now my ping is ~500 - 1000 at all times, and I get lots of server lag :mecry:

Dialup works just fine. I played with it... sure i get high pings, but hey, it works.

dayum you all must have some sucky broadband....on one bad day I got 200 ms that was just for about an hour

usually no higher than 100 ms to 134 ms :D :bigthumb:

I get 400-500ms from Australia, can't notice the ping.

Are most of you guys playing on local servers? I'm in mountain standard and the servers here are usually sparsely populated. I know Nathrezim is a MST server, but from what I'd gathered most people here lived on the east coast.

Oh.. we all play on a Central Server to accomidate the Eastern And Western Players...as well as thos Texas Noobs ;) We play Nathrezim because it was open one night when all Eastern and Central Servers were down :P
