Sucks... I'd host it, but it's 34MB, which is a bit too much for my 50MB webspace, and I'm pretty sure my bandwidth would be killed as well...

I'm not sure how you can deduce that from what's mostly a collection of really quick action shots, but said action shots look rather hot to me anyway.

The time for political manoeuvring is pretty much over, there can't be much more (if any) happy-go-lucky romantic stuff, there's no preteen kids running around or quasi-comical aliens carrying the plot, it's just all-out war now. It looks darker and more (potentially) dramatic by several magnitudes than ESB even. I'm sure it won't be free of hammy dialogue and acting, but no single Star Wars movie ever was.

I'm excited.

I saw this last night my friend got his hands on this early.

The Emperor is fricking going to make this movie Big Time!

I am totally into this now. The mystery of the force is back and the whole imagination thing looks to be back in this one with a dark feeling....

Looks good. Like I said.. just reading the script to Episode 3 makes The Phantom Menace and Return of the Jedi better movies IMO. I would think seeing this movie will do so to even greater effect.

All the quiet manueverings from the benign Palpatine in episode 1 and 2, even things you didn't even know he was behind, come together in a powerful and sinister climax in this film. How one man used his cunning and intellect to seize all power makes him a more interesting character than he ever was.

General Grevious is supposed to be a wicked villain too. It's just too bad Darth Maul and Jango Fett couldn't have lasted until Episode 3. I think having the villain die in each movie has weakened the new trilogy a bit, taken away from the excitement of wanting to know what happens next between movies.

Anyway.. can't wait to see it.

I wonder if Kit Fisto says anything in RotS? He doesn't seem to say anything.

I'm also looking forward to Barriss Offee and Luminara Unduli, they were awesome in The Clone Wars cartoon.

Also that hot young busty Twi-Lek chick, forgot her name.

I think said sound was just put in the trailer for dramatic effect, it seems a little unlikely to me Palpatine would actually utter some sort of lizardman-like cry.

At any rate, I'd prefer it if this sound effect was really just added to the trailer for effect, I think it sounds inappropriate and out of place. Palpatine's better if he's either silent or cackling manically, not making noises more fit for a Tolkien creature.

On a different note, after repeated viewings I think my favourite trailer moment is now the shot in which Obi-wan screams "YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE". I really like the delivery, it simultaneously sounds like an accusation and a plea and it's drenched in despair.

To me the whole Palpatine deception is incredible, the way he is describing the dark side of the force and the secrets there that not even the Jedi know, it is very seductive. He is a true master of intrigue and obvious from what I have seen thus far the acting really captures it.

I am all for that weird sound as the Emperor leaps forward. I know Lucas was heavily influenced by Joseph Campbell and the "Power of Myth", symbols and mythos holding much power. The dark side of Palpatine releases an ungodly yell that is the physical manifestation or symbol of the darkness that lies beneath him.

It's my favorite moment of the trailer as well incidentally... ...that and Palpatine's delivery of "not from a Jedi"...

My favourite moment is that spooky as hell Yell and his speaking of the dark side of the force. That scream is the scariest thing I have heard in ages :bigthumb:

Sith were a race, but since the race became extinct, now they're just people who hold the same ideals as the Sith.

That is correct.

And his body was tatooed red and black, Zabrak's have normal-toned skin, like Bao-Dur in KotOR2. But Bao-Dur looked like he was tatooed as well, had "patterns" on his head/face, but his skin color was normal.
