wow i guess he's trying to avoid being typecast. good for him tho since it sure beats being a dumb actor. granted he could make more dough in acting but can he really look at it and say it was anything worthwhile. i'd rather be known for creating something amazing than being good at pretending to be someone else.

ROFL

yeah good move on his part. He's still young so it's good to get out before he becomes a crack addicted burnout who winds up in jail.

i was thinking of that jes last night. actually tho the only one who came out of those movies with any kind of career was ford. but i guess that's because he already had a career before the original trilogy and raiders came out in between. the other's were relatively new. carrie fisher stayed B movie and hamill even less imo.

Hamill is doing rather well as a voice actor FYI. And I heard that's what he likes to do anyway, so who are we to say he failed?

I'd rather do something I like for a living than doing something I hate for money and fame...

Hamill's also been on Broadway, playing the title role in "The Elephant Man" and "Amadeus". Apparently he even got good reviews.

EDIT: also, he always seems to be a much nicer guy than Ford. I'm always a little gay for Harrison as an actor, but Christ he could at least TRY to be a little interested and cheerful when he's been interviewed.

his voice acting certainly beats 99% of all anime dubbed male voices. The one simpsons episode with him in it was classic.

you europe folks dont get it. he's garbage here and so is hasselhoff :P :D

his claim to fame was the original trilogy and he hasnt been seen since nor talked about. oh except on those shows like what ever happened to such and such.

actually hamill and fisher are both loozers compared to ford. they both went off to celebrated drug habits and mediocre movies.

Anyone who gets to play Cock Knocker after being Luke Skywalker is O.K. in my book.

Does anyone else remember that Harrison Ford was an architect too?

And I thought mark hamill was pretty good in The Big Red One. And I heard Mark Hamill's voice everyday on batman as a child long before I ever saw the move so :P

Actually, he sucked in school and never obtained a college degree. He was a carpenter though.

Yeah, and he got pretty disapointed they didnt pick him for the Amadeus movie... with his theater reviews he was hoping that role would bring back his career, and make people notice him as a serious/real actor...

and Cop, he says now its what he likes to do, cause he has kids, and (frankly) he has to be thankful he got this voice actor gig... if he would have had a chance to become a real actor, he would have gone for it...
