View Full Version : People who won't read directions
OK, it's like this, today I was at the Post Office, and someone asks me how to use the stamp machine.
IT'S GOT THE FRICKIN' INSTRUCTIONS PRINTED IN PLAIN ENGLISH ON THE FRONT OF IT!!!!!
Good grief!
I told this moron the exact same thing that was printed in the instructions, and she says "OK, thank you." and promptly proceeds to get her stamps.
Sheesh!

Maybe she was trying to hit up on you or make conversation

She wasn't exactly pleasant to look at.
If it was a choice between her or my hand, I'll pick my hand anyday!
Not only that, but I wasn't the only person she asked. She asked two or three more people....

People who don't read instructions are who keep me in business.
I didn't read where it says not to duplex a transperency, and now there is smoke coming out of my laser printer.
Heh he heheh HAHAHAHAH!!!

My father inlaw refuses to read directions no matter how complicated or multistaged an item's construction may be. Constant tinkerer. My generation he'd be some fancy pants mechanical engineer making good money. His generation, you fixed it yourself or learned how from someone who did. Whenever he builds something there are usually pieces left over. But whatever it may be, lawnmower, weedeater, chainsaw or tractor engine, it'll work. Amazing really. :)

Not me. I know why things work but can't get the jist of how they work.
You do realize that your inclinations may lead you down the dangerous road to pc enthusiast. Before long you'll be throwing money you don't have on upgrades you don't need and staring at a blue screen for your efforts. :D
