ok this one was really neat. it started slow but got much better as it went. i gotta say peter jackson did a great job especially since i knew how it was supposed to end and i was still kinda sad when it happened. so even though there was no suspense i was pulled into the story cuz it was well told. visually it was great too. the dinosaur stampede scene had me sitting there with my mouth open, very cool.

all in all a cool flick and a lot better than i expected.

i know a coupla scenes while he was running with her in his hand he should have been bouncing her off the ground every time he put his hand down to move forward. she definitely should have been more roughed up than she looked.

The only things that bothered me were
1. The whole Jimmy thing... WTF was that about?
2. How crappy the cannibal scenes were shot with that stop-motion slow-motion. It looked like absolute ass!

i actually thought that was kinda cool. yeah it was cheesy but it was more or less reinforcing the theme of beauty taming the beast. it reminded of a big slobbery dog who fawns over it's master. and not for nothin but it prolly was the first time he had ever seen ice or snow. didnt look like it got very cold on that island. ;)

and cop yeah it did look like ass. i hate when any movie does that crap. thankfully it didnt last long.
