NFL Preseason

Anybody else generally hate pre-season? I can't stand it that the Eagles have to play 5 games, but McNabb sure was looking good on the field :O Winning games obviously means nothing (ie. Colts went 0-4 in pre-season last year, 14-0 to start real games), so is 4 games too many? Adding 2 games to the regular season would be fun to watch, but I love how in a 16 game season every game is so important. Taking away 2 pre-season games without adding anything else would be the way to do it, but there's no way the NFL would allow themselves to lose all of that money.

Does anybody here go to preseason games? I went once last year and it was ok, not exciting though. Go Eagles :bigthumb: :headbang:

I typically catch the first one or two preseason games for the teams I like, mainly because hey it's football... finally!

Then I realize that the games are pretty uninteresting, with the coaching staffs saving the best players and tricks for the real season. I'll definitely watch the Cowboys this weekend though. :bigthumb:

Eagles 1st team looked good, Raider's-need some work to say the least. Not looking forward to the first game when my Texans play the Iggles. I hope TO blows up Dallas before we play them. :D

Owens had the perfect situation in Philly. They passed more than any other team in the league, they had a great QB who could throw the long bomb. Now Owens is in a city which just sucks :P Also, their QB sucks even more...and Owens is going to have a fit when he realizes that he won't get the ball.
