And other one I like is from the movie: Blade Runner, from the end of the movie, that with the sax :D
ahhh, my mp3 downloading program is being struck by copyright laws just like napster!!!!!!
i went to try and queue up those Enya songs and they're filtered out. So i cant get em from there :( :( :( :(
all these moves to get mp3s takin off the net is pissing me off
how will i ever know how good a band is if i cant f'ing hear it first. What am i gonna walk into a store and pick up a CD cause of it's shiny ass cover!!!!!??? wtf!!!
about 80% of my CD collection are legit cds i bought after downloading the mp3s for a band and liking them enough to buy the album. Looks like that's all gonna go away. Guess i'll have to go back to listening to the radio once again and pick my way through all the dog sh!t bands there are out there b4 i hear a decent song.

Beethoven -- any Fugue that he composed, all works of art.
Mozart -- It has a bit of opera, but scores from The Magic Flute.
Nope couldn't find em
i queued up a bunch of other songs tho
some from dream theater and a few from liquid something or other that somebody mentioned
still haven't gotten em yet but i had about 40 or so songs queued up before them. Should get them tonight most likely :)
I couldn't have you ICQ or something the songs to me. That would take forever on my fittysuxkay :(
maybe there is another way :)
do you have a decent connection? such as anything over 56k?
Pretty Hate Machine

Fiftysuxkay....LMAO, good one...I too am stuck with it, though :(
What I could do is mail 'em or upload 'em temporarily to my web page (translation: online storage space, ROTFL)
Then you could download at your own pace. :D
[ 06-04-2001: Message edited by: Pretty Hate Machine ]
no no no you said it all wrong
it's not fiftysuxkay
it's fittysuxkay :)
i'll let it slide this time ;)
yea that'd be cool if you could temp store em somewhere for me to download.
my connection is slow as ass but it usually doesn't cut off
sometimes stays on for several days at a time.

liquid tension is a dream theater side project, including their guitarist/drummer/keyboardist all of which absolutely blow my mind!

Listening to When the water breaks, by LTE right now. Pretty awesome
I like the Enya and LTE stuff alot. I also got the blade runner one but wasn't all taht impressed with it :)
But none of this tops the intrumental version of Adesso E fortuna! :)
it might be impossible to find it tho :( if you download adesso e fortuna and hear somebody singing in japanese than you got the wrong version heh. The vocal version is ok... but the intrumental, orchestra version.... oh baby :)
still listening to when the water breaks, and it just passed the half way point
lol this is a long damn song :)
pretty swete tho :)

You can laugh...broadband bastige. :p
you said that I
should look to the future.
i've seen and i'll stay here.
I dont know why
i am tied to the winter
cant find the time, to live.
the smallest gentle gester
keeps the enemy at bay
all i needed was a word
where are they now
the sky seems a little lower
and for that a normal day
do i ask to much
where are they now
you said that i
take more than i offer
yes this is how i spend, my time
you'll come undone
if you dont make the effort
so seek, and yee shall find.
so when disaster struck me
no heart left to offend
oh i only wanted friends
where are they now
will you be there forever
say i'll never be without
dont blame me, for my doubt
you see i cannot stand alone
i'm incapable of breathing
incapable of love
in my world, make me safe, take me home
i'm in capabale of breathing
incapable of love.
you said that i
should stop trying to call you..
you've had it up, to here.
I know your sort,
but i just cant ignore you..
...i'm lost...... in the fog
END:
Song title: Where are they now
Artist: Gene
This is my ultimate favorite song and has been so for the last 2 years or so. I have yet to hear a song that has such an awesome guitar part to it and incredibly deep words. The song is about a breakup and the guy goes insane at the end.
I think PHM was gonna download this one, i hope she found it ok :)
Gene is very hard to find if you use napster. You will only find stuff from Gene Loves Jezebel and Gene Pitney on napster
Audiogalaxy is the proggie to use to find Gene :)
oops lol
posted this in the wrong damn thread
this was supposed to go in the post yo lyrics thread, guess that's what i get for having 12 windows open at the same time :)

The two places I looked at were tiny...bedsit sized. And the cat would have had to stay in, so I'm stuck here for now. :(
On the bright side, I now have a BT line in as well as the other one I have, and with them my connection speeds average around 4-5 K...so I'm fairly content. :)

4-5K...hmphhh,...urgle,..uwhpphhh,..
.....arghhhhhhhh

Oh boy, Teppy...I'm gonna kill you. :p :p :D
my connection only averages 1.2 kbps :(
without the proggie audiogalaxy i wouldn't be able to download mp3s
for example. I setup AG to download about 40 songs yesterday i think
i got a couple in the day and a ton over night
must have got about 16 of em over night.
It works great for 56k cause if the connection to a song ever cuts off it'll search for somebody else with the same file size and name and resume it. I never get any incomplete songs from AG, all fully complete songs. With napster i used to get maybe 1 or 2 full songs and about 20 to 30 incompletes a night

Didn't you get slightly more than that when you downloaded those Enya mp3's off me?
And Audiogalaxy is sweet...I know exactly what you mean there...
