This movie's gonna get me to go to the theatre. Not only shot in black and white, but with only equipment and technology that was available in the 1940's. I've always had a thing for old movies, runs in the family. But there was a certain magic in the old studio system that was lost with the demise of that system.

Marlene Dietrich wouldn't have been half what she was in color. There's something to black and white, the play of shadows and lighting, the contrast. Cool shit man.

I didn't know the bit about the equipment and technology, now I'm even more excited. I really like the poster art for this film... I'm really a sucker for that kind of stuff too. It's definitely on my list.
