VB monitor
Not sure if this part of the boards even get looked at anymore but thought I would add this anyway.
I've been working on a program recently which monitors machine activity logs in real time. Any new log entry is read and activates that part of the program which is directly tied to that machine. These machines are cnc tool and cutter grinders which if you are unfamiliar with, they are used to manufacture cutting tools( drills, reamers, end mills, etc.). I take the collected data and put it into an interface which is easy to see how the machine is working. In so many words, what program is running, cycle time, # of cycles, errors/warnings, etc. I have been working with VB for a short time and have made a few programs used in our shop, but this one I am most proud of due to the extra effort I put into it. With the interface, animated gifs and so on. I made a video of it today so take a look if interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCsSQ...&feature=share |

It is 6; just what I have been learning since my boss had it. I have downloaded VS2010 express, and have written a few things in that.
