Nvidia users, I think I found something for you

Using the D3D tubes AA demo, I tested 4XS AA to see if there was an improvement in current 40.72 WHQL drivers.
No change really at all in that mode, but being the daring guy I am, I used Rivatuner to set the AA mode to 7, (5 = 4xs) and look what happened:

4XS:

Level 7:

What am I supposed to be seeing other than two nearly identical pics of monkey bars?

They are not identical, look at the jaggies.
The 4XS setting was the best the Geforces were capable of, now the level 7 is even better.
If you don't see the difference, then I can't help you.

I see the difference. The level 7 pic has smoother AA.

I'm not gonna lie to you, its pretty significant.
I'm not yet sure what type of AA it is yet, but its probably the best I have ever seen.

You can see the difference and a nice find. It looks like the x6 AA option that may be introduced with the nv-30.

Also level 6 and 8 work too, but don't take as much of a hit.
8 seems to be slightly better than 2X, but slightly faster.
6, I have no idea.

Although I can spot the difference as it is (the Radeon shot looks a bit smoother), you can just open up both images in any image editor and zoom in on one of the vertical poles until the scale is 10:1 (or something like that). It's subtle, but the screenshot from the Radeon has somewhat better blending.

IMO, the vertical edges look slightly better on the R9700. BTW, I own a Geforce4 Ti. It doesn't matter anyway, the GeforceFX will kick R9700's a** in.
Just kidding.
