Had a chance to play beta... Pass
Had a chance to get release for free... Pass
I can literally say I wouldn't play it if they were giving it away.

I am so sick of WoW it's unbelievable. I'd like to jump on occassionally but it disgusts me to even think about it. I'm sure Mists would be fun but I just want to puke thinking about logging in. Waaay too much play time under my belt. I'd really like to get my druid to 85 or whatever but it's likely not going to happen.

leveling to 90 took me over a week and I was spending some serious time at it.

85-86 13Million+ 86-87 15Mil+ 87-8818Mil+ 88-89 22Mil+ 89-90 27Mil+

Thats a shitload of experience needed for each additional level. IMO MOP is more fun than CATA ever was.

Gonna have to agree that I think MOP > Cata. Big time. It's actually a lot of fun. The zones kick ass, lots to explore.

I understand the time play issue but I have always been able to manage game play with my real life stuff. More time will be sent at this initial release of the expansion but like with CATA I will get back to getting everything I need to get done weekly, Raids, farming mats Etc in 1-2 nites of game play.

I got an email from blizzard saying my account was hacked although I haven't played in like 2 years. I emailed them about it and they apparently refunded me all my stuff but I never sent them my info to unlock my account so it's still locked. Never will though probably.

I used to get mad bogus emails from blizzard. Found out they were all fakes.

btw lol @ this being the only thread showing. Might be time to dump this section.

Or maybe..........does anyone even play mmo's these days? For me that'd be a no and I also have 0 desire to play one. Now if a zombie world mmo ever came along I'd be hard pressed to ignore it but I can't think of a single genre of mmo that would even appeal to me these days. I didn't even bother with that sw mmo other than playing a single nights worth of it when it was being beta tested. I just had no interest in getting wrapped up in a monthly payment ensuring my no life status.

But a zombie mmo? Done right I dunno if I could resist. But it could be done dont ya think? I got scenarios running through my head right now for such a thing. Discuss....

Check out "The War Z." Not an MMO per se but it's an online zombie survival game. You create characters and roam around a pretty big area. It's very new and there is only one map so far, but there are many in the works.

It has got RPG elements in it as well. You can level up your character and what not. The thing is if you die in the game then you lose all your items that you've collected and your character gets locked out for an hour so you can't play. You can have up to 4 characters I think. You also have to deal with assholes that want to kill you and take your stuff, but sometimes people will want to work together with you. It's only like $20 I think (maybe $30.)

I've only played a couple hours but I never found any guns, just a hammer that I used to beat zombies in the head with.
